Are you angry on the birds that pooped on you or made you suffer from chicken flu or any other disease that they carry? Well then, Shoot the Birds is the right game for you to get off your anger for the birds. A very simple game, yet addictive that requires the gamers to aim and shoot as many birds as possible.

Shoot the Birds is a game similar to Tiny Wings or Angry Birds, where you will have birds, have to shoot them down and achieve your goals. When you play the game, you will be controlling a pumpkin headed man with a crossbow.

The small birds in the game flies faster and if you miss shooting them, night will fall faster. However, if you can aim accurately you will be awarded with longer daylight. Do not forget that any near misses will also cause the time to run faster.

With the simple soundtrack and graphics which are compelling, the game is a really attractive one. Controlling the game is really simple and accurate; however, the touch is a bit oversensitive. You only need to touch, pull and drag the crossbow to determine how hard you want to shoot your target – the bird! You are awarded for every successful bird that you hit, while a big score multipliers are available if you can hit in a row. Be careful that the arrows do not only fly up, they fall down as well – which might lead to an extra fowl. Unlike other similar games, when your arrow hits the birds, it pierces through them with a really painful squawk, making them loose their momentum and fall on the ground.

The progress of the game depends on your ability to fulfill the series of challenges. The required challenges to be fulfilled are displayed as a sign on the title screen. Challenges include hitting or “shish-kababing” a certain number of birds or achieving a certain level of score. Fulfilling the challenges will earn you multiplier scores, unleash the Fury mode or will just extend your day time.

All together, the game is a decent looking with the colors well drawn. The game is available in iTunes for only $0.99. Buy the game and start to run off your angers on the birds that you have had for pooping on you!
